Our Journey Through the Years

2001
We started as Rwanyamahembe Village Trust Ltd. on February 19, 2001, with 8 visionary founders and just 18 shares, aiming to serve the Rwanyamahembe sub-county.
2007
On April 11, 2007, we officially registered as Rwanyamahembe Co-operative Savings and Credit Society Ltd., expanding our capacity to offer financial services.
2010s
Our services attracted members beyond our sub-county—spreading into Mbarara, Rwampara, Isingiro, Sheema, Ibanda, Kazo, Buhweju, and Kiruhura.
2020s
Today, we proudly serve communities across 10 districts in western Uganda, empowering thousands through savings, credit, and financial literacy.
